ACUTE RESCUE : An elderly lady, 65 yrs old complained of a severe tensive contracting pain in the back of right thigh off and on for the past 6 months, better by lying down, cannot sit comfortably, cannot sit even on the pot, she is in great pain and agony after she alights from the pot, pressing and massaging and crying out aloud due to pain, says, -" my hamstrings feel shortened, have seen a physio too, he too feels the hamstrings are unduly contracted, in a spasm and need to be stretched, but no better even after Short wave diathermy."
